Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], October 3: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel reinforced the vision of “Khadi for Nation, Khadi for Fashion” and “Vocal for Local” by purchasing Khadi in Ahmedabad.
Inspired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s call, the Chief Minister visited Yash Khadi Emporium of Bharat Khadi Gramodyog Sangh at Thaltej and Om Khadi, a unit of Khadi India on Sindhu Bhavan Road, where he personally bought Khadi products & garments.
Recognising Khadi as the symbol of Swadeshi, Shri Bhupendra Patel stated that such initiatives contribute towards realising the goals of Vocal for Local and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
On this occasion, Deputy Mayor Shri Jatinbhai Patel, Standing Committee Chairman of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Shri Devang Dani, members of the Corporation, and senior leaders of the city BJP were also present.
