Every legacy begins with roots, and for Mr. Narender Munjal, those roots were deeply connected to the land and the values it nurtured. His ancestors owned land situated on Jind Road, Barwala (Hisar)—land that was not merely a property, but a part of the family’s identity and heritage, a place that gave the family countless memories, deep connections and a sense of belonging that continues to be cherished even today.
From childhood, he took immense pride in those fields. The farms, tube wells, long summer evenings and countless memories spent on that land shaped his values and personality. For him, the land symbolised hard work, belonging and the legacy passed down through generations.
Life, however, often asks us to make difficult choices. There came a time when a part of this cherished ancestral land had to be sold so that the family could invest in something even more valuable—the brighter future and education of their children. It was not an easy decision, as letting go of a place filled with memories and emotions never is. Yet, like every father, he chose his children’s dreams over his own attachments.
That sacrifice became one of the greatest lessons for us, Purvi and Priyansh. It taught us that true wealth is not measured by how much land one owns, but by the love, values and opportunities one creates for the next generation.
Even today, whenever we think of Barwala, we do not just remember fields and tube wells; we remember the roots that taught our father resilience, humility and selflessness. Those very values continue to live on in our family and in every dream he has built thereafter, alongside the unwavering support of our mother, Mrs. Sarika Munjal, who has stood beside him through every phase of life.
A Father’s Courage to Begin Again
This Father’s Day, we, Purvi and Priyansh, dedicate this tribute to the man who taught us that true success is not defined by how many times you fall, but by the courage to begin again.
Our father has always been a man of values, humility and resilience. Though he comes from a family of landowners, his heart always carried the dream of creating something of his own. Years ago, he stepped into business with hope, only to face a painful setback when circumstances and misplaced trust led to failure. The experience shook his confidence so deeply that for years he believed he would never be able to build a business again.
But courage has a way of finding its way back.
At the age of fifty, when many people choose comfort over risk, our father chose to dream again. He found the strength to start over, not with bitterness, but with a vision—to create a place that reflected warmth, honesty and genuine hospitality. A place where people would feel welcomed, respected and cared for, free from arrogance and built on human values.
That vision became Hotel Elite.
For us, Hotel Elite is more than a hotel. It is a symbol of our father’s resilience, his faith in second chances and his belief that kindness and integrity are the true foundations of any successful venture.
A Father’s Day Tribute from His Children
This Father’s Day, we celebrate not just our father, Mr. Narender Munjal, but every parent who silently carries dreams, overcomes disappointments and continues to build a better future for their children.
Thank you, Papa, for teaching us that it is never too late to start again, to trust again and to dream again.
With love and gratitude,Purvi & Priyansh
